To the People of Woonsocket
I would be honored to serve as your Mayor. This is my Pledge to you.
If entrusted with the responsibility of serving as Mayor, I pledge to govern with honesty, integrity, transparency, accountability, and respect for every resident of our City.
I will put the interests of Woonsocket ahead of personal interests, political interests, and short-term convenience.
I will treat every taxpayer dollar as a public trust and work to ensure that City resources are used responsibly, efficiently, and for legitimate public purposes.
I will make decisions based upon facts, fairness, and the long-term interests of the City.
I will respect the roles and responsibilities established by the City Charter and work collaboratively with the City Council, School Department, municipal employees, businesses, community organizations, and residents.
I will expect professionalism and accountability throughout City government, and I will hold myself to that same standard.
I will listen to residents, communicate openly, welcome constructive disagreement, and recognize that no individual has all the answers.
I will measure our progress not by announcements or promises, but by results residents can see and measure.
I will work every day to make our neighborhoods safer, our government stronger, our finances more responsible, our infrastructure better, and our economy more competitive.
Above all, I will remember that the Office of Mayor does not belong to the person occupying it. It belongs to the people of Woonsocket.
And I pledge to leave this City stronger than I found it.
