Dan Gendron is committed to putting Woonsocket first with honest
leadership, responsible spending, and a vision for a stronger,
safer, and more prosperous city for every neighborhood.
Dan Gendron is a lifelong resident of Woonsocket and a proven leader
with a track record of results. He believes in honest government,
strong neighborhoods, and opportunities for all.
As Mayor, Dan will work every day to make Woonsocket safer,
stronger, and a place we are all proud to call home.
Woonsocket must move beyond simply providing temporary shelter and focus on helping people achieve lasting stability. By working with the Rhode Island General Assembly, the Governor’s Office, and local nonprofit organizations, we will coordinate shelter, mental-health and substance-use treatment, employment assistance, and rapid-rehousing services. Our goal is not merely to manage homelessness, but to help individuals move into safe, stable, long-term housing while protecting the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
